Communities Foundation of TexasOne Party, 101 Champions and 168K People Talking About Giving Day
Communities Foundation of Texas asked us to get North Texas talking about Giving Day. We hosted the Golden Hour Party With a Purpose at Banner House on August 21 for 180 creators and guests, welcomed Amazon as presenting sponsor, and signed up 101 local creators as Champions of Giving, each one turning their own audience toward the nonprofit they love. Every post was shared in the creator's own words, with no payment and no trade.

Impact by the NumbersThe goal was simple: get more of Dallas talking about giving, and make it easy to join in. CFT hoped for 100 Champions of Giving. We finished at 101.
What we deliveredThe party, the champions and the giveaways
A giving campaign works when people feel welcome first and asked second. We built the room, the program and the moments worth sharing.
Golden Hour Party With a Purpose
180 guests at Banner House
- The RSVP goal of 100 was met in the first week of invites going out, and 180 creators and guests came through the door.
- A Polaroid wall let creators pick their nonprofit in real time, then take the photo home.
- 14 vendors and local partners, three local Amazon sellers among them, plus swag bags guests said "thought of everything."
- Plus ones welcomed, which meant more people filming, posting and talking about it. 150+ pieces of content came out of the night.
Champions of Giving
101 creators, 104K people reached
- One simple sign-up kept the program easy to understand, so creators could say yes in a single read.
- TikTok and Instagram creators joined the lineup side by side.
- $103K in honorary grants went to North Texas nonprofits through the ambassador program.
- 45 Instagram posts and reels and 7 TikToks drew 18.4K interactions, every one of them organic.
Amazon giveaways
Two creators, $1,000 in gift cards, 64.3K reached
- Dallas Discovered and Briana Trusty each hosted a $1,000 Amazon gift card giveaway to support Amazon as presenting sponsor.
- Two local voices, two audiences, one message about giving back.
- A custom creator brief kept the message on Champions of Giving, with the giveaway as a bonus.
- 9.1K interactions across both posts. The Dallas Discovered giveaway alone drew more than 7,300 comments.
